DNS

DNS performs DNS queries and retrieves different types of DNS records.
Parameters
Take a look at the configuration parameters for the connector. Parameters supported by Double Braces expressions are marked with (DB).

Operation Type
The type of the lookup. The options are: DIG, IP, Lookup, and Wikipedia.

Server Name (DB)
The server to perform the query. This option is only available if the DIG operation is selected.

The domain name to look up for the IP address. This option is only available if the IP operation is selected.

Lookup Name (DB)
The domain name to look up for the DNS records. This option is only available if the Lookup operation is selected.

The domain name or keyword to be queried in Wikipedia’s DNS service. This option is only available if the Wikipedia operation is selected.

Fail On Error
If the option is activated, the pipeline's execution with an error will be interrupted. Otherwise, the pipeline execution proceeds, but the result will show a false value for the "success" property.
