Data Streaming

Learn how to export or consume data using external tools or systems.

The Data Streaming feature allows you to easily configure and stream logs and completed executions data automatically within the Digibee Integration Platform to external tools of your choice.

Currently, the Data Streaming feature is only compatible with Datadog. Support will be extended to other tools in future updates.

Benefits

  • Improved visibility: Makes it easier to monitor data in real-time using your preferred tools.

  • Compliance and auditing: Enables bulk log storage, daily exports, and extended retention for audit requirements.

  • Operational efficiency: Avoids manual log downloads by automating data streaming to external platforms.

Use cases for Data Streaming

The Data Streaming feature is very helpful if you need to:

  • Stream data to monitoring tools for real-time visibility of system health and anomaly detection.

  • Stream data to troubleshooting tools for live debugging and quick issue resolution.

  • Stream data for long-term retention and auditing to meet regulatory requirements like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

  • Aggregate data from multi-cloud or hybrid environments into a single platform for visibility and analysis.

  • Enable automated alerts on data anomalies to reduce incident detection and recovery times.

Permissions

To create, edit, and delete Data Streaming configurations, the user must have the data-streaming-manager role. To learn more about roles and permissions on the Digibee Integration Platform, check out the documentation.
